The running was an acquired taste, but now I'm pretty well hooked on it.Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04930262815304757150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-249763712759401212.post-12889107212952057612011-07-23T08:48:09.433-05:002011-07-23T08:48:09.433-05:00Ohh i love your writing!!! There is a fertilizer plant near the coast of NC that has piles of rejects that you can pick through and find shark teeth telling me that the ocean was there at a time in the past. Our area has really changed.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00920831144240024660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-249763712759401212.post-89701561123544815782011-07-20T15:18:37.131-05:002011-07-20T15:18:37.131-05:00Hart: Thanks for stopping by! I couldn't exercise at all under 20 degrees- in fact, I don't think I could even get out of bed!

BTW- your pup is absolutely charming. He even has a hint of accomplishment in his expression in the after picture-
ShellyShellynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-249763712759401212.post-10828854829877866592011-07-20T13:43:24.433-05:002011-07-20T13:43:24.433-05:00I love your mind meander! (without music... which I don't do often) But it is my way I problem solve.

I am terribly impressed, both with how much weight you've lost, and with running when it is 102. I only power walk at this point, but anything over 90 drives me inside to my eliptical. (as does under 20) very well done!Hart Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17599570189253229318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-249763712759401212.post-24590282936699954812011-07-20T12:08:38.131-05:002011-07-20T12:08:38.131-05:00Belle: Thank you! I hadn't heard of the Karankawa tribe, but I have read some tribes in the past were cannibals. Whoa. You wouldn't want to meet up with them. I like the history of your family too. Wonderful.Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14175778756449339363noreply@blogger.com
