Now I understand why you are usually the first person to comment on my blog, Shelly. I get up between 4 and 5 but you and Odie have me beat. You are very smart for eating healthy. Your body will thank you. I love how you described your cup as "overflowing." That's a winning attitude, my dear friend. You can choose to come from scarcity or abundance and you have chosen the latter. It's exciting that you're doing voice overs. I was an announcer throughout my career and voiced promos, psa's and commercials at two different TV stations. You should post some of your work here on your blog someday!
ReplyDeleteShady: The early bird gets the worm (not that I want a real worm)! I agree- attitude makes ALL the difference in the world. How wonderful that you were an announcer! I just kind of fell into this. A porducer heard me narrate a play, asked me if I would be interested, and here we are on this new adventure. I could probably learn a whole lot from you, my friend! Thanks for stopping by-
ReplyDeleteI have been an early riser since my childhood. Lately I have been gettin gup at three thirty in the morning because my breathing medication works like caffine. I also look at a cup almost full. Inspite of occasional worries I am trying to ba as thankful as I can be. I always eat my steak well done as well. Last time I went out for dinner was with my husband and my daughter for my husband's birthday.
ReplyDeleteHi, this is Munir from Focus. My favourite colour is Pink. My last vacation was in Hawaii. My favourite flower is a Rose. I went to a Pep Rally two weeks ago for the Extreme Makeover Home Edition. They will be renovating a home for some one here in Orange County New York. So I think I have answered most of the questions. I will answer the ones I missed later on. Have a Great Day:)
Munir: I loved reading your answers- we do have some similarities there. I will be watching your blog if you do put up the answers to the rest- I think it is so interesting.
ReplyDeleteGreat answers? Is your silence on 28 because you don't have any or too many to count?
ReplyDeleteBossy Betty: Ha! Didn't even realize I left it off- perhaps some things are better left unanswered...
ReplyDeleteWas fun reading your answers...I'm having trouble coming up with seven facts no one knows about me...LOL!
ReplyDeleteHugs~
Voice-overs for commercials! What a great extra job. I want to see San Antonio some day. I know I'll see it when hubby and I retire. We plan on seeing every state in the Union.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about the tatoos too, thought maybe you wanted a little mystery left in blogworld!!
ReplyDeleteLoved reading your answers, I'm going to have to do this too. I'll combine my icky food of yours and Odie's mushrooms and shrimp!
First, I'm planning on posting something later for my baby's birthday today--Bridget is 2!!
SO, I could be listening to a commercial and actually be hearing your voice? (and not even know it!) That's really exciting!!
Sush: it would be so much fun to read if you did it!
ReplyDeleteBelle: You will love San Antonio- and my husband and I want to travel, too, when we retire. Will be FUN!
Jamie Jo: Ha! Just inadvertently left it off. I can't wait to read yours! Happy Birthday to Bridget! And no, my voice is only on South Texas area commercials. It's still kind of surreal to hear it-
I wear Flowerbomb too! LOVE that perfume!
ReplyDeleteCrystal: I could bathe in that perfume...
ReplyDeleteVery good Shelly, we do have some things in common. I enjoyed this very much.
ReplyDeleteOh, yoga pants - yes please! Love them. But really? You get up at 3:45 IN THE MORNING?!? I'm going to have to keep my eye on you...
ReplyDeleteHow fun that you do voiceovers. If you do any national ones you'll have to tell us so we can know it's you!
What is Flowerbomb? Is it Viktor Rolf? I will have to sniff it out, so to speak. I LOVE perfume - my favorite is Black Orchid by Tom Ford.
This was so interesting to read! I do have to say that you are not a "naturally early riser" but an unnaturally early riser. 3:45 is pure craziness! :)
ReplyDeleteOh Shelly, you wake up very early! I might wake up that early too next year because my daughter will be starting school. :) I love you answer on number 13!
ReplyDeleteChoose Happiness
I'm going to have to check out that Flowerbomb stuff....my birthday is coming up!
ReplyDeleteKaren: LOL! I wish I could sleep later, I really do. And yes, it is Viktor Rolf. I'm going to have to go check out Black Orchid-
ReplyDeleteKelley: I hope when I retire in a couple of years I can reset my inner alarm clock- that would be great!
Nuna: Thank you! And yes, there's so much much more to do when your kids start school~
Jamie Jo: A little of that perfume goes a long way, so you don't have to put much on!
