  10. Dear Shelly, I am not a believe in the importance of differences. I do believe in looking for what connects us. By the way, I left a comment on your January 6th blog. It looks like you and I took a breather from blogging about the same time, but you came back a week earlier than I. The important thing is that we both came back! Peace.

  11. Dee: I'm so glad you're back! It is good to take a breather now and then. I headed back to the earlier post- and thank you!

  12. Dang it, Shelly, this is hard! I have typed and deleted, over and over.

I am not ... finished ... I am not a finished product. It continues to surprise me, in late middle age, how much I am still learning and changing. Some people are adults at an early age. Some days I feel like I will never be one.

  13. I am not . . . I am not . . . I am not lifeless. I decided on that because X used to tell me to get a life. I had one all along.

  23. What are YOU not?

    I am not cool.
    It's really humbling actually.
I'd like to think I used to be.
But now, I'm older, have 6 kids, priorities are different, I guess.
    I'm OK with it.

Someday I'll be a cool grandma.
I don't have to be a cool mom.

  34. I am not fighting my body like I used to--LOL! My body is the boss of me and has been for over a decade now. I have adapted to that and am much more at peace with that fact than I was several years ago. I am content. Sometimes restless...but content. :)
